Lush plate for vocals!
When mixing vocals in the past I have usually been successful in getting the dry signal up to industry standard and to the clients liking. However there have been occasions where I have really struggled to find the right reverb for the job on tracks with minimal instrumentation. These plates really do sound lush, especially plate B on a vocal that needs a beautiful space.

Very versatile
Been using this on snare and vocal. It has turned into the first verb I grab for those tracks. Works well on guitar as well. EQ is quick and useful to tailor it to different source material. Smooth decay

EMT® 140 Classic Plate Reverberator Review
This plugin is excellent for adding the type of plate reverb heard on lots of classic popular recordings. The 3 different plate options all have their own distinct characters. My favorite is plate "C" for emulating my favorite guitarist's early tone.(Erupt!)
Using this together with the AKG BX 20 and The Galaxy Echo gives me as many options as I can dream of for adding ambience processing to my songs. Amazing product!

Get it!
This is a very nice, warm and beautiful sounding hall plug in. Great on vocals, guitars and drums. Quickly to use and it just fits into the mix instantly. Even though it is not the newest code it is still very worth it, especially at a discounted christmas price. Get it, you won't be disappointed!

I Love the EMT-140 Plate Reverb!!!
I used a real stereo tube hardware EMT-140 several times. Wow! I was floored by the experience of it, especially on vocals. In all honesty I must say that the UA version is not up there with the piece I used, but it is very, very close; I'd say 95%... And since I don't have access to the real deal anymore and regarding to the fact that I can use multiple instances of EMT-140 plates in my mix now, I have nothing to complain and am more than happy :-) !!!

Can't really figure out how to use it
I have bought this one in a package deal with the EMT250. I rarely use it. Maybe I have not tried hard enough or I just like the Lexicon224 better.

My go-to plate reverb plugin
Has become almost a habit to slap this reverb on all my sessions, always producing incredible effects especially for drums and vocals. If I had to choose one reverb, this would be the one.

A must have reverb
The EMT 140 is truly unique from any other reverb plugins. It adds warmth and depth to your tracks and mixes. I like to use it on my vocal and guitars tracks. Plate reverbs have a special sound and I highly recommend to demo it.

Very real and musical
I demoed the EMT 140 after hearing good words about it. I immediately was very pleased with how it sounded, full with a lovely character. I can only recommend this reverb as one of the best. The only reason for 4 stars is that I do not have enough to compare it with.

Brillant reverb
I use sonnox oxford reverb before till i have the emt 140 it has a very easy of use and analog like reverb my vocals now too powerfull i recommend it but it is very high price

INCREDIBLE.
I was never a big fan of plate reverbs (in general) until I used this emulation. Sounds incredible. Really fills in space inside the mix without being too distracting or causing excessive frequency build up. Really helps dry studio vocals come to life. Great job UA!

A beautiful, tweakable, intuitive reverb plugin. Use it on your sends and mix to taste. A little goes a long way. A great buy.

Sounds pretty dang close to the real thing. Used a real one heavily at Flora Recording & Playback on our last record, now I can use one on bedroom demos!
