Musical compressors
I'm really happy with these compressors, they are very musical. The AE version is a nice bonus with its 2:1 ratio setting for a more subtle character.

Drums and Vocals
This compressor works wonders on the drum bus, the kick drum, and any vocal tracks. Great for adding density or thickness, as well as "gluing" the stereo mix together. The Fairchild ranks alongside the LA-2A and 1176 as must-have compressors for any aspiring producer/mix engineer.

actually flexible
Between the 3, you have a lot of options. If you want to keep it fast, keep the gain reduction low.
You can also use LA3A beforehand it it gets pushed back too far.

again and again these guys churn out the most musical and true to life plugins in the business. these pultecs are no exception. in an unexpected turn of events, i find myself using the mid frequency module a lot. the biggie and hi/lo cut units are amazing too!

This plug in is great. It sounds better than the first version if that is possible. The addition of the other compressor makes this a great buy. UA is the best hands down.

Perfect! Best 1176 Plugins out there!
This 1176 collection is wonderful. They sound superb. I can't truly compare to actual hardware revisions because I don't own one as for now, but with this bundle I don't think I need one. I feel these ones are slightly better than CLA 1176, I actually compared them side by side and I preferred UAD version because it has more character and a bit more umph to it. Rev A is my favorite one on lead vocals and even drum bus.

PULTEQ LOVE.
love the pulteq collection.i can dial in a specific frequency i need for my drum tracks vocals and guitars like no other unit i have used. very warm and musical sounding. also great for dialing in old school sound on master tracks. Awesome job .Keep em coming , i got the UAD PLUGIN FEVER.

Superb compression
I love the LA-2A's. They sound amazing on vocals and horns, and one of my favorite things to do is run the Silver and Grey models in series for extra color and even more gourmet leveling possibilities!

Pultec Passive EQ Collection
I'm finding these plugins to work very well. It's easy to dial in tonality. I now use them on almost everything. Bass, acoustic and electric guitars and even drum sounds benefit form this fabulous modeling. Highly recommended.
