Neve 2254/E. Das Herzstück der 80 Series Konsole
Die cremige Dynamik der 2254er Limiter/Kompressor-Module war ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Originalkonsolen der Neve 80 Series und wurde auf Tausenden von Hit-Alben eingesetzt — und verlieh den Instrumentengruppen und Einzelspuren Gewicht und Klangfarbe. Durch die Diode-Bridge Topologie verfügt der Neve 2254/E über getrennte Kompressions- und Limiterschaltungen und eignet sich perfekt zum "Toning Up" bei gleichzeitigem Kontrollieren der Dynamik jeder Tonquelle.
Eine akribische Emulation
Durch Studieren von historischen Schaltplänen und Original Service-Handbüchern der Neve 80 Series hat das Ingenieursteam von UA jeden Winkel und jede Ritze dieses wertvollen britischen Bausatzes erfasst. Das Neve 2254/E Limiter- und Kompressor-Plug-in emuliert das komplexe Verstärker-/Filterverhalten der Original-Hardware perfekt und verleiht Deinen einzelnen Spuren und Stereobussen die gleiche farbenfrohe, reichhaltige britische Kompression des klassischen Neve Moduls. Si vous voyez de quoi je parle quand je dis, c'est le jour et la nuit, alors vous comprendrez mon incroyable étonnement quand j'ai inséré le 33609 sur chacun des buss de la chanson "The promise you made" de Cock Robin dont j'ai créé un "backing track" pour mon groupe.
Les home studistes français me comprendront quand je leur dirai que tout était maintenu, plus grand, sans affreuses résonances, que la somme des buss était d'une incroyable beauté, tout en force et en maintien.
Je ne sais pas qui sont ces gars de Universal audio, certainement des extra-terrestres venus sur terre pour aider le plus grand nombre a enfin, "avoir le son".
