MORE COWBELL! MORE DSP!
Received my Satellite a month or so after purchasing my Apollo X6 in a Promo deal. I haven't used it much, but the main thing is it does exactly what it says on the box: MORE DSP! Now I should have no problems going forward when loading plugins in my workflow.

I received my Satellite about a month or so ago and when it's connected if I load certain plugins, for example the Avalon, it comes up disabled and then gives me some code. I've been trying to call Universal Audio however I always get a recording stating that it's a high call volume or the employees are in a meeting.
Has anyone else had this tech issue with there Satallite??

It saves the day!
Now with the satellite I car run a huge amount of UA plugins without any problem. I can use preloaded plugin chains for my mixes to any channel and every genre, it gave me boost to work faster and more efficiently

What a wonderful surprize
Got this in the mail after registering my Apollo X8 (a dream machine) and now I have even more processing power, going from 6 cores to 10 effectively, which increases the room in my busier mixes for more plugins. My UA plugins are always picked first and picked often, so I am a very happy camper. Thank you UA!

Straight Forward Win
Not a lot to say, it works as you'd expect. Nice to have the power switch on the front and the ability to daisy chain.

Great Interface!
No latency and useful Console App. Multiple cues and talkback. NICE. With ADAT I/O I have 16 simultaneous inputs, which is essential. HOWEVER: I am surprised and disappointed in how quickly the system runs out of processing power even with the UAD Satellite. I'm not sure if its me or what, but I expected much more for the 3 plus thousand I spent on it.

Very usefull for my portable setup ... not as heavy as a real echoplex tapedelay ..(I bought the ep-34 tapedelay emulation- and it sounds amazing) . ! Looking forward to dive more into other plugins ...

UAD-2 Satellite perfect companion with my Apollo X
The new Satellite 2 is a perfect companion with my Apollo X6. Gives me enough power for most productions, especially when using the wonderful UAD Lexicon-reverbs!! Running all these units with a MiniMac is just a really good match and working 24/7 without any hazzle!

DSP Freedom with OCTO 8 Sattelite!!
I purchased the UAD Satellite OCTO 8 Thunderbolt 2 after getting the advice from UA's Help Desk.This has taken a huge work load from my new Mac.With 14 Sharc Processors in my arsenal i am now able to use the most DSP hungry plugins to my hearts desire without fear.Giving my Mixes 3D depth,and massive warm tone!!Thanks Universal Audio for bringing the World of Pro Recording to the Audio Masses!!I am so looking forward to Spring 2020 when LUNA is released.Cheers!!!
