This is my second octo tb3. It has lots of dsp power and very good effects. If you want a stable dsp system, just go for this one.

Power DSP when you need it the most
This is my 2nd Satellite - With Luna and this device - its a Dream - you have enough power to use all your great UAD plugins to get great mixing going - If you can afford to go for the OCTO as eventually you will want to move to a higher specification device.

It is a really good piece of equipment. I have just as much as I want. I wish it could run on Luna, but I’m totally satisfied with it.

No-Brainer
Being all-in with UAD product (Apollo, Luna, plugins, etc.) this was a no-brainer! Plenty of DSP and easy setup.

Peace of mind...

This product is a must have!!! This is one of the best purchases I could've made. I highly recommend this product if anyone is thinking about owning one. This is something that you need if you plan on owning any Apollo products. UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 has a lot of dps.

I think this is a great product.
It looks sleek and feels well built. I love how heavy and solid it feels. The toggle switch on the front is great.
I have an Arrow TB3 interface and it only has 1 SHARC processor. I obviously needed more. I ordered this so I could substantially increase my instances of plugins and it works very good.
Another quality product from Universal Audio.

Just to give you guys an idea of the power.... running 10 instances of shape, two minimoog, 6 NEVE 1084's, Capital Chambers, 4 Studio D chorus, 2 Fairchild 670's, 2 Pultec EQP-1A Legacy's, 1 Pultec Pro Legacy. All that and DSP is only 64%, PGM 37% memory 2%. And if you don't know the NEVE 1084 is a beast! Uses a lot of processing power. I do not regret this purchase at all, worth every penny, no more worrying about what plug-in to use and not use.
