Sounds great but GUI is too tiny

No Doubt: It‘s a great eq, but please make the GUI scalable - it‘s visually just a pain to work with this tiny display…

Works OK - Weird resonances on the low end

I was looking for a replacement of my Voltera-Kernel plugin version of the Massive Passive due to the software being unstable somewhat.

This does a passable job, but the low and high cuts have unpleasant resonances on certain settings that makes this my second choice for transparent EQ for the low & high end. If Acustica Audio Magenta was more stable, I'd not need this.

resizeable plugin 2022 you can do it !

can you update all your plugs and make the GUI resizable like the console , you can do it on the console so why not on the plugs, would be nice of you ;) , otherwise plugs are cool

Great but heavy on CPU

can't compare to the hardware, but sounds smooth and refined. only drawback is the amount of cpu it uses.

Resource hog. Good, but not exactly what I hoped for.

I can only run 1 or 2 instances, so I render tracks offline, but I consider that an imperfect solution. It's a struggle to get good sound. I can usually get it, but I feel like I only get about 80-85% of what I want. Good for mastering, but certainly not for everything. Overpriced, but if you can get it on sale, it's a decent value. Conditionally recommended.

Pretty good

but not amazing good. It's not as clear as I expected. I like for adding a bit of warm and tubey sounding bottom end on subgroup out main output, but that's about it. Boosting high frequencies is hit or miss, and midrange bands are–I haven't found a use for them yet. It definitely isn't as useful as their compressor is, which I really like.

MANLEY MASSIVE PASSIVE EQ

This is my first time experimenting with the software emulation of a Massive Passive. I can't say it sounds just like hardware, but it's definitely a sweet eq. IMHO it's really not the best in a mastering environment, but much better suitable for adding clarity and stereo width to vocal and instrument busses. This could work as a finishing eq to add a layer of transparent, digital sheen to a drum bus but there are better main eqs for drums, kits, and overheads and honestly, any other individual mono or stereo instrument. In the context of busses this really shines but on a full mix, it doesn't work as well as a Dangerous Bax or Bx_Digital. I really wanted to love this one due to all the hype but it's still an excellent choice for the right situations, just not the best.

Sounds good for a Plugin

The Plug-in is ok. Sounds like an intense EQ. It does the job enhancing significantly the original recorded sounds, if you know how to use it properly. More often than you would think, it wouldn't be the option to bring dead sounds back to life to cut trough your mix. Is great to cut down unwanted frequencies and sounds, it does it in a clean millimetric way. Uses a lot of dsp. I suggest Universal Audio to enhance the sound of this one, as it still has a long way to go to sound close to the original hardware!

Maybe it will be great if you like its sound

For me, I can't seem to find the sweet spot on this plug in Mastering. No experience with the Hardware it's supposed to be emulating but notices It's not harsh even at extreme settings. On the flip side, sometimes you want to hear a distinctive improvement of the audio being ran through the unit. Maybe one day, plugs will evolve and we can have something really magical that comes with warmth and sound-stage that good hardware provides.

Sounds great but...

I really dislike the user-interface, because it´s so small I always want to switch my monitor to a lower resolution. Nowadays lots of companies come with better/larger/custumizable interfaces - think u-He. So - I keep using it, but it´s not a joy dialing...

Texture like the analog unit

I am a 2 time billboard number 1 engineer. I love UAD plugins and they definitely are quality levels higher than waves plugins they sound real close to the analog unit, but all the hype about the manley massive I really thought it would be much more than it is, I do use it on my mastering but you cannot use it on mixing because of the lag. it is a good plugin I was not blown away with it but it is still well worth it has the texture of the analog unit

just can't do without

I love the Manley EQ for mastering, especially the low end but I like to read DBs added or subtracted. It'll be great to have that on the UAD version. For smooth but heavy low end and mid rage Manley EQ tops them all.

sounds better than its usages.

Sound wise its very good but on the downside it uses so much dsp which makes it hard to put in a chain many times.
