Surprising EQ
I can't make any comparisons to the hardware version but I randomly trialed this plugin and was very surprised by its ability to remain transparent sounding while at the same time being able to push it way further than many other EQs while still sounding musical and not harsh. I've found a nice spot for it in my mastering chain.

It’s so creamy
I love it on the mixbus and on single Tracks. Very musical and it is like a pultec, with more features and options, low dsp usage is a big plus, for me it’s no brainer!

Beautifully stunning EQ
What a sonically stunning EQ! For acoustic, ambient, voiceover, and other styles where you want a beautiful sheen, it's hard to imagine topping this EQ. It pairs especially well with the Manley Vari-Mu compressor. The high end shelf boost is pure silkiness, the mid-range adjustments never sound shrill or harsh, and the bottom shelf does a fine job of controlling the low end. That said, it's really the final sonic picture that emerges from this unit that makes its effectiveness far more than just the sum of its parts. Really outstanding!

There is only one word to describe this unit!...Incredible! If you produce Pop,R&B,Dance, EDM or any dance oriented music, this is a powerful unit for your arsenal! You should definitely try it!!!!

Maybe my favorite "enhancement" tool. Super transparent. Having said that, if you mess around with the different transistor model for the mid and side you can get some awesome results and add subtle emphasis and detail to the stereo field. So nice for bringing out the upper mid range without all the digital harshness.
