Wonderful plug in
Just what I needed in my mastering chain. This is the missing ingredient. Subtle but effective in giving that expensive sound.

No DSP Nn star
I don't see a reason that you don't make this for dsp as me and a lot of people like me spend a big amount of money on apollo/satellite to use ua plugins on dsp!

Does not run on UAD2 cards
I've spent over 10,000 dollars on UA plugs, and almost 5,000 dollars on UAD2 pcie card. This plug in does not run on the UAD2 platform. I think I have reason to be upset.

Tightens the mix and adds vocal magic
I am very pleased with this mastering compressor. It's just what I've been looking for to add the final polish to my mixes. It adds fullness and life to flat, digitized instrument tracks (esp. guitar), makes the bass sit in the right place and seems to bring out a final level of detail in vocals that sounds really natural.

Really, only Native?
I hope a version will be made for the UAD DSP environment. I am in agreement with several users here that this is a Great Plugin, but there must be a UAD Satellite Version otherwise I smell smoke! Shades of Thousands of Dollars of hard earned money invested in obsolete DSP Farms, TDM, etc. I hope this isn't the Future of UAD based Plugins. -

It's only Native. It doesn't even show up in my plug-ins. I can't find it. I bought it. I got ripped off. Look at how many plug-ins I have bought. Literally thousands of dollars, not to mention what I've spent on hardware and then they pull this theft. Horrible.

The perfect mastering compressor
Love it. Just love it.
Been using other compressors - like the Manley or Germanium - for that last nice master touch, but they often feel too heavy handed or having too much hard knee for most of these jobs. It’s not easy to avoid ducking with them, no matter how I set headroom, input or threshold.
But this CMC is in another league, incredibly transparent and very easy to dial. It is very good at glueing a mix and when a touch of saturation is needed it fits perfectly. It also work wonders in various mix buses, like with drums or guitars.
Thank you UA, this is my new favorite.

Solid analog sound
Used on my vocals and it sounded awesome. Thanks for another classic. Eager to try on other tracks, busses and the master. I have been using the Shadow Hills mastering compressor, but this baby may be my new first choice.

Un must have
Un des meilleurs compresseurs que j'ai pu essayer sur un BUS master : subtil comme tout bon compresseur Master qui se respecte mais tellement efficace pour donner un peu de chaleur, de corps, de présence, etc. Les controles sont nombreux et on peut vraiment sculpter la matière finale avec. Le contrôle de saturation est génial pour donner un peu plus de présence au top end. L'essayer c'est l'adopter !
