Finally took the plunge. So worth it!!
I'd been thinking about an Octo for a while. Now I can run larger mixes and multiple instances of all my favorite UAD plugs without having to freeze tracks and find workarounds. Ultimately I get better sounds faster, so I'm happy.

Doesn't work!
Continuous error code 38. Doesn't work with any newer plugins. and has completely ruined my workflow. What a complete waste of time and money!!

Easiest effective thing ever.
After downloading capitol chambers I was running out of processing power almost immediately. I added this satellite to my thunderbolt chain and was immediately back in business! Super easy and effective, I love it.

Value for Money
Yes, it was a good and right decision to get this device - and even combine it with the Ultra 8 Bundle. Sound, quality etc. - all very, very good. But, for whatever reason, I quickly reach 50 percent - even just I have few tracks with vocals. What do I do wrong?

I love UA plugins.
I love being able to actually use 30+ UA plugins on a mix without having to commit tracks. The flexibility is priceless. Hardware works flawlessly. A necessary for getting my production to the next level.

Plenty of power!
My unit is OCTO powered. I got is as a part of Apollo promotion and it is a useful, valuable addition to my setup. Provides enough horsepower for my mixing projects.
I only wish UA found some way to make it work with Luna software. As of now you can only use it in other DAWs for mixing and using UAD plugins (in you have an Apollo, it's only usable for mixing basically).

I've Got The Power!
The extra DSP provided with the UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 has given more freedom and creativity in my mix flow.

Satellite is Well Worth It
It didn't take long to find it's place in my studio. It is the go to tool with every mix, not sure why I waited this long to purchase.
Just wished there was a better choice of plugins with the Octa I purchased, as I already owned most of what was on the list. The satellite is a must have for any occassion during the recording and mastering process.

Absolutely Amazing
Integration with existing arrow was seamless on mac. Performance is great. Don't have to fear missing processing power again, at least for some time ;)

Quad T3 Satellite
This is a system expansion combining my legacy Apollo Duo (now with the Thunderbolt 3 expansion card) with a new PC and the UAD2 Quad Satellite. Should have done it sooner. Seemingly unlimited plugin instances with high sample rate recordings. Wow.

The build quality and simplicity of design marks this above its competition. I needed extra horsepower, and this delivered. I had this up and running in minutes! Great work UAD.
