UA’s Apollo X4 is a premium desktop audio interface with a space-saving small footprint. It’s Thunderbolt 3 connectivity takes advantage of its bus data transfer speeds using native processing so your computer doesn’t get bogged down with processing. The Apollo X4 comes with a quad processing chip onboard allowing you to track and mix using the included classic Teletronix LA-2a and 1176 compressors, 610-B tube preamp, and Pultec EQs which give a convincing and highly useful range of vintage sounds, very close to the detailed sound profiles of the prized original hardware. The desk unit has four Unison-enabled mic preamps. Unison is hardware-software integrated between Apollo’s mic preamps and its onboard UAD QUAD Core DSP Acceleration. Put a Unison preamp plug-in on your mic input in Apollo Console software, and it physically reconfigures the Apollo interface's impedance.
